The pandemic continues to play havoc with sports fixtures as well as sports personalities. This week the world’s top golfer has tested positive. He was of course very disappointed as he has had to sit out on a current tournament. To keep his ranking of course he has to play tournaments to gain the points he requires to maintain his position. It is too early to say how many he will or may miss. Rankings of course are of no consequence to a virus. Very disappointed is an understatement when one views the body language he portrays when discussing the issue. His plans moving forward from such a great position have been thrown into utter disarray. Like with many he hopes that he can go through this as quickly as possible and still manage to salvage his position.

This pandemic does not seem that it is going away soon. There will be many more such stories to come we suspect.

While polishing her skills by taking several sports broadcasting gigs, Thelma concluded that she liked writing more than talking: the sheer power and potential of a written word fascinated her. She started with co-running a Premier Volleyball League blog and playing a part in drawing attention to the Arizona volleyball program for kids and teens.
