The US President came out today to say he was not interested to do a virtual debate. This has been hanging like the Sword Of Damocles over his head. He requires to debate because of the coverage it gets so close to an election. The last debate was watched by over 75 million people. Debate moderators were always worried about this ever since he contracted the virus. On the other side, the democrat nominee immediately agreed to a remote debate. The president thinks that having a virtual debate is pointless and could be cut off at will. His assessment is it is better to have a live rally event.

He has also stated he will not waste his time with this. He does not have to debate as there is precedent for a former president in office to refuse to debate. However, there is equal precedent for the debate to be held from two separate locations. The intrigue continues regarding whether there will be a second debate or not.
