Whilst Trump was hoping to open the Country this week, there are two members of his staff at the White House who have tested positive for Corona virus. Hardly an endorsement for everything being under control.

Biden was scathing in his remarks regarding the Presidents handling of the pandemic. He stated that Trump was aware as early as January/February but was too slow to react. “He’s been incompetent the way he responded,” Biden told ABC News Chief Anchor George Stephanopolous.

Biden believes it is premature to try to go back to business as usual too quickly as the Country is facing an economic & medical crisis. He went on to reiterate that despite Trump stating anyone can get a test, that in fact not anyone could get a test. This has been a strong bone of contention for the President who continues to state a different scenario to what actually exists resulting in Biden calling him a Liar.

On being asked about when he believed the Country should return back to normalcy Biden suggested that everyone respects the views of individuals like Dr. Fauci and the other medical experts as this was in his opinion more about lives than politics. He advised the State Governors to look at the science, take the advice of the experts and phase the opening of their respective States.

Clearly irritated by the actions of the President, Biden went on to mock the fact that Trump does not wear a mask, and irrespective of expert advice refuses to wear one. He believes the President is in “fantasyland”, as there are over 80,000 deaths in the USA, as well as having the highest number of individuals contracting the virus on earth. “ Comeon whats the story here “ ? he asked. The President is focused on the Flynn case when the Country is going through this huge challenge.

“We have an economic crisis, we have a health crisis. This is all about diverting attention. Focus on what’s in front of us. Get us out of this Mr President,” Biden told Stephanopoulos.
