Sir Sean Connery The Iconic 007 Dies at age 90

A film icon is no more. Today we heard the news of the passing away peacefully in his sleep of a much-loved actor. He set the standards for all others who came after him in playing a secret service role. His take was however more jaded as he felt that previous classical roles in the theatre were much more interesting. He went on from that role to play many iconic roles in the movie’s world. He also lent his unmatchable voice to many characters in animated films. Although a native of Scotland he lived in the Bahamas only never stinted in his support for an independent Scotland. Survived by his two sons and wife he will always be remembered for the rugged and charming portrayal of the quintessential secret service agent.
