The latest jobs report is due out today. It will give us a better picture on what is happening to employment in current-day America. If as anticipated it shows we are at 8.6%. Although that will be slightly less than the August figure. It will still be the highest figure since World War 2. The worrying issuer is we have never gone into an election with a figure this size in our history. Which of course brings up the question of what effect will that have on the voting population?
The sitting Government would obviously prefer a better picture. It already has a resurgent virus. Which is worryingly projecting even greater numbers than in the lockdown period. It is also facing very large numbers in redundancies Disney, American Airlines and United Airlines and from some banks.
