The US this morning woke up with the news.  That the President and his wife tested positive for the Coronavirus. What is the Presidents risk of complications? According to informed judgement, he is on the high-risk side. This is mainly because of his age. He is also classified through his last medical to fall into the obese group. Both of these places him in the high-risk group. There is also the chance that other conditions, not made public could place him in further danger. There are other factors such as him being a man. This makes him more likely at risk of further complications.

The timing so close to the elections also is making tongues wag. It has already been suggested that the Vice President who has tested negative so far. With others in line to the presidency will immediately receive extra protection.
