The game of American football has always been a tough game. Only it has got a lot tougher for the Dallas Cowboys quarterback. He sustained a horrific injury in the 3rd quarter against rivals NYG. This involved both dislocation and a fracture to an ankle. He was attended to by medics on the field with splints. He was also carried off on a cart giving the thumbs up to the crowd. His brother provided pictures of both of them at the hospital before surgery. Promising that he would be back just as strong and just as good.

The problem some see is that his contract was a short term one-year one which has nearly ended. So now it is not only healing that he has to wait on. It is whether his contract is going to be renewed is another worry. It doesn’t rain but it pours.

While polishing her skills by taking several sports broadcasting gigs, Thelma concluded that she liked writing more than talking: the sheer power and potential of a written word fascinated her. She started with co-running a Premier Volleyball League blog and playing a part in drawing attention to the Arizona volleyball program for kids and teens. Today there is no form of the competitive sport she wouldn’t cover. Thelma returned to Arizona and has no desire to ever leave. We respect that. Email:meeks@worldnewstribune.com
