The head law officer in the US has resigned. The incumbent of the highest office announced this on Twitter. Stating that he will be leaving next week to celebrate Christmas with his loved ones. He thanked him for a job well done and said their chat was very amicable. Yet behind the scenes, there has been controversy regarding his most recent comments. Specifically that no fraud to any appreciable extent has yet been found. He later clarified that fraud was evident from the evidence shown. Also, he would be appointing his special deputy to start investigations into it. However, there are reports that the incumbent president was firm in his conviction that he would ask him to resign. The AG has throughout his tenure been very loyal and has placed himself in tight spots as a result.
